Hydroscand greases for general machinery lubrication – Universal , Endurance, Endurance BIO , Endurance Moly and Arctic Extreme – are based on water-free calcium soap as a thickener. This produces greases with very high water resistance, good load-carrying capacity, and reliable pumpability in modern centralized lubrication systems.
Unlike traditional lithium-based greases, water-free calcium retains its structure even in wet, dirty, and demanding environments, contributing to a longer service life of machines and components.

UNIVERSAL EP 00, 1 & 2
Base oil viscosity 220 cSt
Hydroscand's Universal grease is a modern development of the grease that has been the standard for general machinery lubrication for over 60 years. The grease has a base oil viscosity of 220 cSt, is equipped with EP and AW additives, and also achieves a noticeable performance improvement by using water-free calcium soap instead of lithium. This base oil viscosity makes the product suitable for applications with speeds up to approximately 1,500 rpm.
Universal EP 00: Intended for general machinery lubrication in machines with centralized lubrication systems where an NLGI 00 grease is recommended.
Universal EP 1: Intended for general machinery lubrication in machines with centralized lubrication systems where an NLGI 1 grease is recommended.
Universal EP 2: An all-purpose grease for general machinery lubrication in medium-duty applications.

ENDURANCE EP 2

Hydroscand's Endurance EP 2 grease is the big brother of Hydroscand Universal. With a base oil viscosity of 1,370 cSt, Endurance is the obvious choice for general machinery lubrication in construction, forestry, and marine applications, where equipment is exposed to both heavy loads and demanding environments.
The grease is designed to handle slow and heavy movements. The water-free calcium ensures optimal performance even in environments with water and dirt, making it particularly suitable for our customers’ workplaces. The high base oil viscosity combined with the water-free calcium soap quickly builds a stable lubricating film in slow applications and provides excellent adhesion and water resistance without becoming overly sticky. After all, a general-purpose grease should still be removable when needed and be able to be displaced by fresh grease.
Despite the thick base oil, Endurance is easy to pump in most modern centralized lubrication systems designed for NLGI 2 greases, even in winter. At temperatures below –20 °C, however, the grease can become more difficult to pump if the grease or system has been stationary for an extended period in these conditions.
Endurance is suitable for applications with speeds up to approximately 500–600 rpm.

Hydroscand's Endurance BIO EP 2 grease is a high-quality, biodegradable grease designed to combine environmental responsibility with high performance. It is an environmentally approved alternative that does not compromise on performance, providing optimal operational reliability and protection.
The synthetic base oil of 560 cSt, combined with water-free calcium soap, provides excellent lubrication in agricultural, forestry, and construction machinery. Like Endurance EP 2, the grease offers excellent water resistance and dirt-repellent properties. The product was originally developed for marine applications and is approved for "total loss" use, which is a clear indicator of its environmental profile. Endurance BIO EP 2 is also listed on the SP list.
This grease can confidently be offered to customers who want to reduce their environmental impact or operate in industries with strict environmental requirements. Despite the high base oil viscosity, Endurance BIO is easy to pump in most centralized lubrication systems where NLGI 2 grease is recommended. ENDURANCE MOLY EP 2

If Hydroscand Endurance is the big brother to Universal, then Hydroscand Endurance Moly is the big brother to Endurance. It is a water-free, calcium-thickened grease with a high base oil viscosity of 1,370 cSt, enhanced with 2% molybdenum disulfide (moly) and 1% graphite.
Endurance Moly is intended for lubrication of large, heavy, and slow-moving applications in the biggest machines. It is particularly suited for sliding and oscillating applications, as well as environments that are wet and dirty. In applications where ordinary grease might be displaced or fall off, the moly and graphite remain in place due to their polarity and continue to provide lubrication. For example, consider hose presses, which use a moly grease daily – there is often lubrication remaining even when it appears that the grease has run off.
Moly and graphite are often added to greases to increase load-carrying capacity and handle even slower and heavier applications. Typically, these additives are added to a grease similar to our Universal, but with lithium thickener, which only addresses the issue from one angle. Endurance Moly, on the other hand, tackles it from three angles through properties that all contribute to excellent performance in slow and heavy applications: high base oil viscosity, moly and graphite, and water-free calcium. Despite its robust composition, Endurance Moly is easy to pump in most modern centralized lubrication systems.

The grease contains antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, as well as EP and AW additives, making it particularly suitable for heavily loaded bearings and applications in wet or corrosive environments.
The grease is developed for forestry, agricultural, and construction machinery, as well as marine applications, and excels by performing in extreme cold, down to –40 °C. The combination of water-free calcium soap and the specially formulated base oil blend provides excellent adhesion, high water resistance, and effective corrosion protection. The grease withstands high impact loads and protects against moisture and dirt ingress, helping to extend component life.
Despite its high base oil viscosity, Arctic Extreme is easy to pump in most modern centralized lubrication systems, even at very low temperatures.

Grease Premium Hi-temp is a long-term grease designed for demanding applications such as construction, mining, forestry, and agricultural machinery operating under heavy loads and harsh environments. The grease is also suitable for ships and offshore use in saline environments thanks to its excellent rust protection. Maximum operating temperature +230°C.
