Terms and conditions for online and distance purchases

The following terms and conditions apply to purchases on www.hydroscand.se, as well as for distance purchases via other channels, such as telephone and e-mail. The terms and conditions apply in their applicable parts to all categories of customers, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

Order

Orders placed via hydroscand.se, telephone, e-mail or other channels are binding. When ordering from hydroscand.se, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail containing information about your order and your specified address details. If you do not receive an order confirmation, you must contact Hydroscand's customer service by telephone as soon as possible.

Prices and product information

When ordering, the prices stated at the time of ordering on hydroscand.se apply unless otherwise expressly agreed. The prices are reported in the shopping cart, at the checkout and in the order confirmation.

The information in the online store is provided to facilitate your purchasing decision and is updated continuously. We reserve the right for any typographical errors and other inaccuracies.

If we discover that an incorrect price has been stated for a product that you have ordered, we will notify you and await your approval of the corrected price before the order is processed.

Promotional prices

From time to time, Hydroscand offers promotional prices on selected products. For products included in such promotions, the more favorable prices or terms apply during the period stated on hydroscand.se or while supplies last. Promotional prices cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated.

Payment

Payment is only made against invoice. To shop at hydroscand.se, an invoice account is required. For orders under 400 SEK excluding VAT, an invoice fee of 40 SEK excluding VAT will be added.

Invoice terms and conditions

Invoice payment is offered after an approved credit check. Payment must be made no later than 20 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. After the due date, a late payment interest of 12% and a statutory reminder fee will be charged. Any comments on the invoice must be made within 8 days from the invoice date.

Hydroscand wants to reduce our paper consumption for environmental reasons and one way is to send invoices digitally. Contact kundreskontra@hydroscand.se and provide your customer number or organization number and your email address to receive your invoice electronically instead of a paper invoice.

Delivery

Delivery method - direct delivery

Purchases at hydroscand.se that exceed 2,000 SEK excluding VAT are shipped free of charge. Delivery is made with DHL. Normal delivery time is 2-3 working days for goods that are stored at Hydroscand's central warehouse. In the event of any delays, we will inform you as much as possible about the reason for the delay and the new estimated delivery time. Delivery is made to the address you specify when placing the order. The cost of delivery is reported before you complete the order.

Packaging

For bulky materials, packaging costs may apply and will be charged at the current daily price. Please note that packaging costs are added to the order value after packaging and are therefore not reported when completing the order.

Damaged or incorrectly delivered goods

If the packaging is obviously damaged, you should preferably not accept it, or immediately notify the postal service or carrier that the goods are damaged.

If, after receiving and unpacking your order, you discover that any item is incorrect, missing or damaged, you must report this to Hydroscand within 7 days of receipt of delivery.

Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumer

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days when shopping remotely. The cancellation period is calculated from the day after you or someone representing you has received your goods. If the last day of the cancellation period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, the cancellation period is extended so that it also applies to the next working day.

Please note that not collecting a package or not receiving a delivery is not considered an exercise of the right of cancellation. You can cancel all or part of your purchase by doing one of the following options within the cancellation period:

  1. Return the item(s) to a Hydroscand store. Remember to include the order confirmation/delivery note.

  2. Send the goods back to the central warehouse. In this case, you must first notify us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, after which you will receive a shipping label for returning the item(s). You can notify us of your wish to exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting customer service. The items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to cancel the purchase. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the amount credited, i.e. you as the consumer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Items that you return must be unused, complete and sent back in the original undamaged carton. Remember to use appropriate packaging so that the carton or item is not damaged during transport. If you have handled an item in a way that has caused it to decrease in value, we have the right to deduct the decrease in value when making a refund.

Entrepreneur

Returns are only accepted after special agreement. Approved returns are credited with a 25% discount on the price of the goods. Returns under 250 SEK excluding VAT in invoice value are not accepted.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to specially adapted goods such as pressed hose. The right of withdrawal also does not apply to goods that are made to order and that are not normally stocked by us.

Complaints and warranty

If you have purchased a product from us that is faulty or if there has been an error or delay in delivery, you have the right to complain about your purchase. You can then ask us to rectify the fault, make a new delivery, make a price reduction or give you compensation for rectifying the fault yourself. In serious cases, you have the right to cancel the purchase. Please note that complaints about goods only concern defects due to manufacturing faults and not normal wear and tear.

Hydroscand is normally responsible for manufacturing or manufacturing faults within 12 months from the original date of purchase, which must be proven with an invoice or copy of the receipt. Please note that a different warranty period may apply to certain products according to the supplier's terms and conditions. Our warranty liability does not cover accessories, wear parts, handling errors or damage caused by liquids or impacts.

Product complaints and warranty matters are handled in store. If you have any questions regarding this, you can contact customer service.

For the warranty to apply, the product must not have been disassembled, rebuilt or subjected to external influences. The product must be well maintained according to the service intervals specified by the supplier. If the product has been used after a defect has been discovered, the warranty does not apply. Goods that are returned must be well cleaned.

In the event of a valid warranty claim, we will cover your costs in connection with the complaint, such as return shipping or petrol costs, and repair or replace the product. We do not cover costs for rental machines, repairs by another workshop, travel costs or the like. If the product is no longer in our range, an equivalent replacement product can be offered.

If you are not satisfied

As a customer, you can contact The Swedish Consumer Complaints Board (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. In the event of a dispute, Hydroscand follows ARN's recommendations. You can also use the EU's online platform for dispute resolution. These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and, in the event of a dispute, shall be settled in Sweden by a general court.
