A workplace where people thrive

At Hydroscand, we believe our people are our most valuable asset. Our success depends on creating a workplace where everyone feels included, safe, and empowered to grow. We are committed to employee well-being, fair treatment, human rights, and diversity across all levels of our organization.

From branches and service vans to production facilities and global offices, we foster a respectful culture where different perspectives are welcomed, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Inclusion, equity and human rights

Hydroscand’s culture is guided by our Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy. We actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through inclusive recruitment, bias-free evaluations, and anonymous application processes.

In 2024, we introduced our first group-wide Human Rights Policy and strengthened DEI practices across the business. While women currently represent 19% of the total workforce and 17% of managers, we are taking concrete steps to improve gender balance – especially in leadership roles and technical functions.

We are also proud of the strong culture reflected in our employee survey (2024), with high scores in fairness (73%), camaraderie (77%), and trust (78%).

Learning, leadership and continuous growth

Ongoing development is essential in a fast-changing world. Through the Hydroscand Global Academy, all employees gain access to structured training – locally and globally. From onboarding and health & safety to GDPR and business ethics, we are building knowledge that supports individual careers and company-wide progress.

In 2024:

  • Over 1,600 employees participated in learning activities

  • Total training time reached 4,512 hours (up from 1,137 hours in 2023)

  • New modules on sustainability, cybersecurity and leadership were introduced

We are also investing in performance dialogues, goal-setting, and leadership development – ensuring that everyone is supported in their professional journey.

Safe and sustainable operations

Health and safety are non-negotiable. Whether in a service center or an office, Hydroscand works actively to prevent workplace risks and protect every team member. We use a digital tool to report incidents and near-misses, enabling preventive action and better working conditions.

Safety is not just about procedures – it’s about culture, responsibility, and care for one another.

Great Place to Work

Hydroscand AB will be certified by Great Place to Work for the third consecutive year in November 2024. This prestigious recognition is entirely based on what current employees say about their experience working at Hydroscand. To be certified by Great Place to Work, it is not enough for employees to simply enjoy their work; there must also be a high level of fairness, respect, pride, and camaraderie within the organization, and management must inspire, inform, show appreciation, and develop their employees.
